BALLYMORE, Co. Westmeath
Branch day visit by bus to the Ballymore branch of Comhaltas on Sunday 5 Feabhra. There was a wonderful afternoon of music, song and dance from members of both branches followed by a fine selection of sandwiches and home cooked cakes and pastries - thanks to Edna Reilly for making the arrangements.

RECORDING OF "CÉILÍ HOUSE"
"Céilí House" was recorded on Monday 20 Feabhra at the Sheiling Hotel with Kieran Hanrahan from RTE radio. The show was broadcast on the following Saturday and can be listened to again on the RTE website www.rte.ie/radio1/ceilihouse

WELL DONE to our young competitors in the annual "SIANSA" Gael Linn competition. Their performance in Árus Crónán, Clondalkin on 11 Márta was top class. Buíochas mór do Eimear Burke for organising the group "Réaltacht" and arranging the music.

JOHN FINNEGAN MEMORIAL SET DANCING COMPETITION on 11 March in St. Michael's GAA Centre, Carlanstown, Kells, Co. Meath.

SEACHTAIN NA GAEILGE. Performances by Grúpaí Ceoil of the Branch included:

• National Museum, Kildare St. on the afternoon of 5 Márta before audiences of up to 100 over the one hour show.
• Tuesday 14 Márta in St. Canice's School, Finglas to introduce parents of the students to Irish music.
• Demonstration of music skills by young musicians to young students at Holy Faith School, Glasnevin during school hours on 15 Márta.
• Centenary Session/Céilí in St. Columba's, Iona Rd., Glasnevin on 16 Márta.

Special mass for deceased members and friends - Saturday, 25 March in the Pastoral Centre, St Fiachra's, Beaumount, at 8.15 pm.

COLEMAN TRADITIONAL FESTIVAL 2006, 1- 3 Meán Fómhair.
This annual traditional festival is held to honour the great fiddle player, Michael Coleman, who was born in Knockgrania, Killavil in 1891 and died in New York in 1945. The programme includes a traditional concert, junior Feis, Ceili, fiddle competitions, pub sessions and street entertainment. Coleman Centre, Gurteen, Co Sligo.
